Measure each wall separately
Record full width and height in one unit. Note sloping ceilings, columns and other changes that affect usable drops.
Describe the surface
Report cracks, peeling paint, texture or signs of damp. Wallpaper should not be used to hide an active wall problem.
Share room and pattern needs
State the room type, preferred colour or style and whether the pattern will cover every wall or only a selected area.
Clarify fitting
Ask whether the quotation covers supply only or includes wall preparation, adhesive and installation.
